How can I connect my Bluesky account?

To connect a Bluesky account to RADAAR, you must first create and copy an app password. Then you can follow the steps below:

1. From the left menu, navigate to Settings and switch to Channels tab.
2. Click to Connect button and select the Bluesky (Account) option.
3. Enter your Username (or E-Mail Address), paste the App Password you generated for your Bluesky account.
4. Click to Add button to connect your Bluesky account.

If you prefer, you can connect directly using your Bluesky login credentials, but note that you'll need to update RADAAR if you change this information to avoid losing connection.

How can I generate an app password for my Bluesky account?

To connect your Bluesky account to RADAAR, you must first create an App Password:

1. Go to Bluesky's website with a web browser.
2. If you are not logged in, log in to your account first.
3. Click on Settings from the left menu..
4. Scroll down the page a bit and find the App Passwords section.
5. Click the Add App Password button.
6. In the window that opens, give a name for the password.
7. Make sure to select the Allow access to your direct messages option.
8. Click on the Create App Password button.
9. Copy the password to paste it into RADAAR.

How can I connect multiple Bluesky accounts?

You can connect multiple Bluesky accounts to your subscription. The connecting process is exactly the same as connecting your first account.

What kinds of content am I allowed to share on my Bluesky account?

You can create and schedule content in Single Image, Video, Photo Album, Link or Text type to be published on your Bluesky account. Unfortunately, there is no carousel, story or reel type content available on Mastodon. Therefore, if you choose the Carousel content type, your content will be published as Photo Album. If you select Story or Reel type and upload a video, it will be published as a normal video.

Please note that Bluesky allows you to share a maximum of 4 images in a Photo Album. If you upload more than 4 images, the first 4 will be shared in your Bluesky account.

What features of RADAAR can I use with my Bluesky account?

You can schedule content to be shared on your Bluesky account using RADAAR’s Scheduler feature. You can see all the published content on your Bluesky account with the Streams feature. You can manage all replies, mentions and direct messages coming to your Bluesky account with the Social Inbox feature. You can also track what other people are talking about on Bluesky with the Monitoring feature.
